Back in October, Dan of Denton's "Dan's Silverleaf" asked me to create a painting that would honor Denton born actress of the 50's, Ann Sheridan. A few months later, this larger than life piece hangs above the sound booth of this now legendary Texas music house. She's a big one! Note the size!!

Nick is a artbyhamilton customer and after his brother Tone, saw his piece, well he had to have one too!

So this diamond was created complete with clippers and shaved skulls! His clients are gonna have some nice eye candy while they're in Tone's chair!

Melissa is a clothing shop owner in Bandera Texas. She recently asked me to  paint a series of cowgirls, 2 horseshoes and a boot for her store. She had this to say after reviewing the final proofs before paint:

"They are all so very cool!!!!!  Any of them could end up in the magazine at some point!"

By the way, she sometimes rewards customers with  A COLD ONE I hear, my kinda shopping!

The One That Got Away...

Juan is a die cast collector and vendor. He recently asked me to make a sign for his booth. The catch; include a truck that he almost had, one day, years ago as a youth. He had this to say when I sent the proof before the paint: "Man I love it....the truck looks like

it could drive off!"

Steve is legendary round these parts for making

great music, for many years....he's also been a good customer with the best ideas. He hit me up recently asking me to create a sugar skull with a wrestling mask twist! Man, I was on it and this piece was created as a gift for his lil' lady!

An old friend approached me recently and had me paint a portrait of his old man’s 70’s era corvette, but the only catch, add a “Mr. Gasser” type driver inside….well, a few days later, voila! A Christmas present for Crump’s Dad is born!

Gone to Austin …

I showed some work at one of the metroplex’s best attended car shows, “Pistons and Paint” back in November. One of the guests spotted this piece and purchased it to take back home to Austin for a gift. The proud owner emailed me with this: “ I was completely awestruck, not to mention totally surprised, when my wife gave both my daughter and me a couple of your pieces; Pistons and Hearts & the Kitty Kat.”

Nick is a barber in the Dallas area and had me paint this for his shop, very cool cat that cuts a mean head-of-hair! He had this to say upon retrieving his art: “Hey Hami, Just wanted to thank you for the piece man, I hung it up on Friday and the people are diggin it!”
